About the School
The Anjuman-I-Islam’s Ahmed Peermohamed English School (AIAPS) is a secular day school located in the serene, green and sprawling Peermohamed campus at Bund Garden Road, Pune catering to the needs of all communities where most are first-generation students. The School is part of the Valimohamed and Dostmohamed Peermohamed Muslim Girls’ Orphange Trust managed by the esteemed Anjuman-I-Islam, an educational conglomerate operational since 1874 with campuses across Mumbai (Bombay), New Mumbai, Panvel, Pune and Panchgani.
With the help of the Bassam family, the school was set up in the year 1999 with just 10 students in the Pre-primary wing and the Primary School was launched in 2005. Now it has blossomed into a full-fledged school from Nursery to class 10 having over 1200 girl students. Today AIAPS boasts of excellent academic results and sterling performances by the children in extracurricular, sports, literary and performing arts.
